HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The University of Houston found out its bowl destination on Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars will be playing Florida State in the Peach Bowl, one of the coveted "New Year's Six" bowls. UH became the Group of Five's representative in the upper-tier bowl game through being the highest-ranked team outside of the "Power Five" conferences. Houston won the AAC championship on Saturday over Temple.
The Cougars' record sits at 12-1. They're ranked 18th in the final College Football Playoff poll. Florida State (10-2) is ranked ninth.
