Dwight Howard gives back to the kids

- Dwight Howard took time out of his Tuesday to give back to the kids at the Ronald McDonald House.

The Rockets center read to the kids. Not only did he do that, he gave all the kids there tickets to Wednesday's Rockets game against the Magic.

"A lot of these kids... their dream is to go to an NBA game, meet NBA players," Howard said. "Just for them to be able to do that is something that they'll remember for the rest of their lives."

The Ronald McDonald House is a haven of hope for kids with serious illnesses. Howard enjoyed spending time with his youthful audience.

"It's better than any game-winning free throw or any dunk, anything like that," Howard said. "It's just spending time with these kids and seeing them smiling and enjoying themselves."

Howard, of course, iced the Rockets' first win of the season on Monday night with two free throws to put away Oklahoma City.
