J.J. Watt's 9,000-calorie daily diet will blow your mind

J.J. Watt is larger than life ... before he's sculpted in the gym, he's making incredible gains in the kitchen.
 
The Houston Texans defensive end consumes an unbelievable 9,000 calories a day, according to GQ.
 
He spreads it out over six meals -- that's two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners.
 
For some perspective, the USDA suggests the average man aged 21-50  is recommended to consume between 2,200 and 3,000 calories per day.
 
Watt consumes about 3 times that!
 
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound NFL Defensive Player of the Year goes through almost an entire carton of eggs in just two meals.
 
But for Watt, it's not about the calories, it's about how he feels.
 
"I'm not strict on my calorie count, I just pay attention to my body," Watt told GQ. "Over the years I've learned a lot about nutrition and about myself, so it's a lot more based on feel. I stopped putting a number on it because people were analyzing it too much."
