EL PASO, Texas (FOX 26) - A Texas grandfather who visits a Whataburger restaurant in El Paso everyday for breakfast was surprised with a cake and balloons when he visited on his birthday.
His granddaughter, Em, shared photos on Twitter of Mr. Johnson smiling behind an orange and white cake decorated with birthday wishes, "Happy Birthday Mr. Johnson, Customer #1, Whataburger."
His granddaughter wrote on Twitter, "My grandpa goes to @Whataburger everyday for breakfast so the local workers surprised him today with a cake&balloons for his birthday."
In response to people on Twitter expressing concern for Mr. Johnson's health, Em said he is in fact very healthy and active and began visiting Whataburger after his wife passed away a few months ago for comfort and social interaction.
