YONKERS, New York (FOX 26) - It has happened to most of us: Our eyes trick us into seeing things that aren't really there. That happened to Hannah Murphy's mom while eating at a restaurant.
"My mother was giggling at this and told me to 'take a look at that adorable dachshund, he's sleeping", she was looking at a purse," Hannah Murphy wrote on Twitter. Murphy's mom mistook a brown leather purse on the ground for a dog. To be fair, the photos might make some do a double take.

After Murphy shared the picture on Twitter, people shared pictures of things they mistook for something else and it got even funnier.
