Wrong way crash, Obama meeting with Southeast Asian nations and Valentine's Day spending

- Three people are in the hospital, one in critical condition after a wrong way collision in Midtown.

 It happened early this morning on the Spur into downtown near Louisiana. For unknown reasons, a BMW started going in the wrong direction on the Spur and slammed into a SUV.

 A 23- year -old woman in that SUV was brought to Memorial Hermann with critical injuries.

The man and woman in BMW were brought to the hospital as well, in serious but stable condition.


President Obama is getting ready to host leaders from Southeast Asia for a special two-day summit.

Leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations will be in California tomorrow in hopes of strengthening economic relations.

They'll also be discussing recent territorial disputes with China, which is stepping up its presence in the South China Sea.

Global security issues like ISIS and advancements in human rights are also on the agenda.


 It is Valentine's Day, lovers everywhere are spending more money on that special someone The National Retail Association  says that consumers are expected to spend $147 this year, that's up from $142 last Valentine's day.

The Association says the increase could be due to more interest on action-based gifts.
