HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police say a Wingstop employee shot and chased a robber after the suspect demanded cash and tried to hold the store on Scott Street near Alabama last night. Authorities say the robber got away with about $350 from the cash register and started running away from the store. That's when the Wingstop employee began chasing him and opened fire. A customer said, "He pulled it on the suspect, chased him and shot him."
One suspect was reportedly found a couple of blocks away. He had a single gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital for the injury. He's now in stable condition. The employee that chased after the robber said during the chase, he "feared for his life and shot the robber."
