Virginia reporter and photographer killed during news interview

houston - A Virginia reporter and photographer from a TV station in Roanoke were shot and killed during a live news interview. It happened in Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, Virginia. WDBJ confirmed the deaths on Wednesday. During a live interview multiple gunshots were heard as a reporter screams and camera drops just before the broadcast cuts away.

The video captures an image of the what’s believed to be the suspected shooter.  WDBJ tweeted out that they are trying to figure out what happened and that law enforcement is on scene.
