{Video} Deputy Saves Toddler from Highway

The video, posted on Facebook, is “for educational purposes and not intended to ridicule or question those involved,” said Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Curtis Landers.

A toddler was rescued by Oregon police after he was spotted running down the middle of a highway.

Lincoln County Deputy Jeremy Gautney was stunned to see the 2-year-old suddenly appear on the road as cars drove past.

The little boy snuck away from his family who were desperately searching for him as he walked down a highway

Now, authorities have released the dashcam footage to serve as a warning to motorists who may be distracted while driving.
