U.S. Coast Guard finds body, determining if that of missing fisherman

The U.S. Coast Guard says operators of a tow boat found a body whose identity is pending verification by the Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office. Texas EquuSearch was at the site of where the body was found at around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Although the U.S. Coast Guard suspended its search of 59-year-old Ba Van Nguyen, his relatives continued their search efforts. Nguyen was reported missing on Friday night when a Good Samaritan found his 50- foot shrimp boat moving around in circles near Eagle Point. His car was found at the 21st Street dock where he had launched the boat early on Friday morning.

Nguyen's family set up a GoFundMe page and in one day, it was able to raise more than $3,200. The Nguyen Family sought volunteers with boats or people who were able to scan area beaches. The missing man's daughter Judy told FOX 26 News,"We're running out of time and it's become very stressful and frustrating my family just really want some closure we want to bring them home especially for my mom."
