Two relatives injured in northeast Harris County shootout

- The Harris County Precinct 3 Constable's Office and Harris County Sheriff's Office are investigating an altercation between two relatives that ended with both of them wounded.

A spokesman for the Harris County Sheriff's Office tells FOX 26 News that a 19-year-old man returned to his home on Monday and shot his 54-year-old uncle in the leg with a pistol. The older man shot his nephew in the abdomen.

Deputies arrived to Nordic Drive near Northport Drive at around 3 p.m. Monday and found the two wounded relatives. The teen was taken by Life Flight medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center in good condition while his uncle was taken to a hospital in good condition by ambulance.
