Police say the men tried to cross the tracks by going around the crossing arms on East Mt. Houston. The train couldn’t avoid the car.

The driver is in critical condition, his passenger is reported to be in stable condition. Investigators believe alcohol was involved.

Traffic is moving again, after an accident shut down the outbound feeder road of 59 at Hillcroft.

Fire crews had to rescue a woman trapped in her car. Apparently, she lost control of her Mustang and drove over a curb and into a light pole.
