HOUSTON, TX - Houston Baptist University has suspended two football players, after a woman accused them of sexual assault. Kyler Henson, 22 and Dennis Houston, 18 are both under investigation. A woman claims the two men sexually assaulted her after a night of partying. The woman says she was starting to feel sick after one of the drinks at a party, and she ended up blacking out. Then, she stated that she woke up to one of the men assaulting her. HBU's athletic director released a statement saying in part:
"We are greatly saddened for all involved. We had already taken the action of suspending the two athletes from participation, pending the outcome of the investigation. As a university, we have made accommodations for the complainant, and have taken appropriate measures with the respondents to ensure the safety of the campus."
