Two charged with capital murder in death of Houston cab driver

Two people have now been charged with capital murder in the death of a Houston cab driver appear in court on Tuesday morning. Autuan Donell Knox, 31, and Kandis Boone, 25, were taken into custody this morning by police and charged with capital murder.

Authorities say that on Sunday, October 1st, constables responded to shots fired at 14834 North Freeway at the Stripes Gas station.  A witness called to report that a taxi cab driver was being dragged from his vehcile at the location and several shots were fired. The taxi cab then left the scene and was later discovered in the driveway of a vacant building. 

Eyewitnesses then reported that a body was partially out of the taxi cab.  Houston detectives said that it was the body of a 43-year-old Sunday Enilolobo.  The taxi driver reportedly left the scene after being shot, but was discovered near a vacant building next to the gas station.

Boone made her first court appearance on Tuesday morning, but was held with no bond. Knox did not appear.
