Town hall meeting in Baytown on drug plaguing that city

BAYTOWN, Texas - Residents packed a town hall meeting to hear police medical officials and even a documentary film maker discuss the dangers of synthetic marijuana.

Like most Texas cities Baytown has an ordinance making synthetic marijuana illegal but it can still be found in certain stores.

The message of the night was this stuff is nothing like marijuana.

The makers change the ingredients constantly and cops say you have no idea what you are ingesting.

The drug has caused a huge tick in ER visits and several deaths were linked to the drug in Baytown late last year.
