A man is in the hospital after being shot four times at an apartment complex in southeast Houston.

Police say the injured man kicked down his ex-girlfriends front door. Once he got inside the woman's new boyfriend shot him.  The man was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition. No charges will be filed in the case.         There are new developments in the Robert durst case. Durst's attorneys filed a motion to suppress evidence, arguing f-b-i agents did not have a warrant or probable cause to search him, when they raided his New Orleans hotel room in April. The D.A’s  office is waiting for this case to end before deciding to prosecute durst on state weapon charges. He still faces a murder charge in California.

 

An 8.3 magnitude earthquake, off the coast of northern Chile, has killed at least five people. Authorities are assessing the damage in coastal towns that saw flooding from small tsunamis. Hawaii and part of California’s coast are under tsunami advisories.

Firefighters battling wildfires in northern California have found two more bodies in burned out homes. They were discovered in an area about 60 miles from Sacramento, where evacuations were ordered.

On Sunday, the body of a 72 year old woman was found in her home.
