HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Cleanup is under way at a west Houston business after a car broke free from a tow truck then slammed into the front window of the business.It happened while the "sweet bambini" was closed. No one was hurt.

A trailer and the mobile home behind it caught fire in the east end. It happened early this morning on avenue b and 72nd street. No one was hurt and the cause of the fire has not been determined.

With eight days left until the mayoral runoff current Houston Mayor anise Parker says state representative Sylvester Turner is the best person to succeed her. She backs turner's plan to lift the city's revenue cap in order to hire more police. Parker also praised turner for his support of the legally challenged re-build Houston program.
