Houston police are trying to figure out the motive after a man was shot dead inside a motel along the gulf freeway. One person is dead and another hospitalized after a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle on highway 288 near airport in southwest Houston. The driver of the car at fault died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital.
