A Los Angeles teacher was arrested and faces child abuse charges after he punched a student in the face.
Witnesses say last week, the student repeatedly used a racial slur and threw a basketball at the 64-year-old teacher. Video shows the teacher calmly asking the boy to leave several times, then punching him in the face. The fight allegedly began after the teacher said the student was not wearing a proper school uniform. Many on social media are defending the teacher's actions. A GoFundMe page for him has raised more than $27,000.
