Parents raise awareness of seat belt safety after daughter's death

Two Houston parents are turning the tragic passing of their daughter into a mission to raise awareness about the importance of wearing a seatbelt.

Last October, 16-year-old Kailee Mills was heading to a Halloween party when she took off her seatbelt for just a second to take a selfie. She was 400 yards from her home when the car she was riding in flipped. Kailee was ejected from the vehicle.

Now Kailee’s parents have teamed up with TxDOT for the Click It or Ticket campaign. David and Wendy Mills are on the Factor.
