HISD budget cuts

There could soon be a bloodbath at the Houston independent School District. The Factor has learned there's a possibility the district's entire force of custodians could be forced out along with some bus drivers and some police officers on the district's force. This comes as HISD faces a $200 million shortfall.

A spokesperson for the district says while no decisions have been made, they have alerted the departments and workers we mentioned.

On the Factor to talk about this issue is Hector Mireles, president of Texas Support Personnel Employees Local 1.
