Hiring ex-offenders

- A new report suggests hiring ex-offenders may not be all that bad. Dr. Jerry Goodstein, at the Washington State University Carson College of Business says employers who have hired ex-offenders have found many of them working harder than most employees because they have been giving a second chance, that's when most jobs slam the door in their faces.

So we're asking the question, should you give ex-offenders a chance to prove themselves on the job?

Let's take Tyrone Griffin of Houston—who is an ex-offender who admits spending time behind bars and selling drugs. So when it became hard for him to get a second chance in the workforce, he created his own with acting, modeling, and private security for celebrities. Also on the Factor is councilman Dwight Boykins who has been a mission to give ex-offenders a second chance in Houston.
