Harvey Weinstein scandal could impact the movie-making biz in Texas

- A conservative Texas lawmaker wants Hollywood to stay out of the Lone Star State. State Rep. Matt Shaheen wanted to get rid of the Texas Film Commission before. Now that Harvey Weinstein’s been exposed, Shaheen's jumping on another opportunity to get rid of it.

The Texas Film Commission uses your taxpayer dollars to get movies and video games produced here so production companies will hire Texans and spend their money here. Shaheen doesn't think taxpayer money should pay for all that, and—pointing at Weinstein—is calling out Hollywood for hypocrisy a "culture of acceptance and cover-up."

On the Factor are two people who know Hollywood really well and something about those tax credits used to make movies. Director and producer Amir Valenia and attorney, author, actress, and producer Jalene Mack.
