College campus 'safe space' for white students

- The University of Maryland is under fire after students took down flyers for a counseling program named "Safe Space for white students," which was part of a campus group named White Awake.

Before the group's website was changed, a statement read, "This group offers a safe space for white students to explore their experiences, questions, reactions, and feelings.” It also said, “Members will support and share feedback with each other as they learn more about themselves and how they fit into a diverse world.”

The flyer asked if white people ever “feel uncomfortable and confused” in their “interactions with racial and ethnic minorities.”

University of Houston student Michael Anderson, Houston Baptist University student Jackeline Ovale, Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani from Raging Elephants Radio and conservative comedian Gavin Babineaux discuss the controversial topic with Isiah Carey.
