Clinic patients urged to get tested

We're continuing to follow the potential hepatitis and HIV infection of patients from the Coastal Health and Wellness clinics in Galveston County.

A board member for the clinics in Galveston and Texas City says as many as 9,500 people, who were seen from March 2015 to February 2018, may need to be tested.

Since the announcement last week no one has tested positive for anything.

A February audit found poor infection control practices. Officials are still trying to determine exactly what lead to the problem.

On the Factor to discuss potential legal action is Houston attorney Tony Buzbee.
