It has now become popular with high profile republicans and they're investing in it. What are we talking about? Marijuana.
Former U.S. House Speaker John Bainer says he has reversed his opinion about the use and legalization of weed. Even President Trump has backed off the effort by the U.S. Justice Department to crack down on marijuana use across the country. Nine states — Colorado, California and Nevada among them — have legalized marijuana for recreational use, allowing people 21 and older to purchase and possess up to an ounce of marijuana. Bainer has even joined a marijuana advisory board. This is possibly why the legal market is expected to reach $75 billion by 2030.
On the Factor to talk about this growing trend of republican support for marijuana is recording artist and chart toping rapper Baby Bash.
