Are white people now the target of discrimination?

After receiving an email from a white viewer who says members of the media tend to ignore white problems, white discrimination, Isiah Carey decided to explore that very issue in “Is This Our America?”

A recent poll conducted by NPR, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Harvard shows a majority of white people—55 percent— say discrimination against them exists in America today.

A smaller percentage of white people say discrimination exists, but they have never actually experienced it.

So what's behind this?

Many are saying it's the Trump effect, because he catered to white grievance during the 2016 campaign.

On the Factor talk about this issue is Dr. Kristin Anders from the University of Houston Downtown.
