(FOX 26) - Check your tickets! A Texas lottery winner has until 5 p.m. CST on Wednesday, May 2, to claim a $2 million prize.
A Mega Millions ticket sold in McAllen, Texas, for a drawing on November 3, 2017, matched five of the six numbers drawn. The Texas Lottery says the $2 million prize has gone unclaimed.
The ticket was purchased from Tejano Mart #410, located at 620 E. Ridge Road in McAllen. The ticket was a Quick Pick with Megaplier. The winning numbers for the drawing were 10-22-42-61-69. The Megaplier number was 2.
The winner has until May 2 to claim their winnings. The Texas Lottery is urging all players to check their tickets again.
“We encourage our Mega Millions players to take another look at their ticket, check the numbers again and if your numbers match, sign the back of the ticket and contact us,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery.
Ticket holders have 180 days to claim winnings following the drawing date. Unclaimed prizes will revert back to the state for programs authorized by the Texas legislature.
