HOUSTON, Texas (FOX 26) - In Houston, Sundays are for football, and in a sea of red and blue, fans cheered postgame for the new quarterback. Number 4, Deshaun Watson, is already setting records.
"I think he's great, he's able to run, you know we were having a problem with the offensive line at first but he's someone they have to watch," says Dimitri Fetokakis.
"I think he is already doing great, I said it's been a long time I haven't seen such a great quarterback for us," Kostas Veliadis.
Sunday Watson became the first rookie in more than 50 years to pass for four touchdowns and rush for one. He also helped lead the team to the highest winning total Texans score game of 57 to 4.
Brandon Edwards says, "most point we have ever scored, I'm just glad I was here to see it."
"It was awesome, it was the highest scoring game ever," says Jack Guyre.
At only the 4th game of the season, quite a few fans were donning his jersey.
"Well he's the best player in Texans history I think and it's going to see this year," says John Kuryla.
Edwards says, "best quarterback we have ever had, hands down...lets go Deshaun!"
