Teenager accidentally shot by brother in southwest Houston
A teenager was accidentally shot and killed at a home in southwest Houston.
The Houston Police Department responded to a home at 5203 Dumfries to a 15-year-old that suffered a gunshot wound.
According to authorities, the teen was at his father's home with his 20-year-old stepbrother, when the 20-year-old wanted to show him a gun. The gun then accidentally discharged striking the 15-year-old in the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The stepbrother has been taken in to provide a statement to authorities, but authorities say, as of now, this just seems to be a freak accident.
