Sylvester Turner wins vote for Houston's next mayor

The Houston mayoral runoff election came down to the wire Saturday night.

Democratic candidate Sylvester Turner won the final vote to become Houston's next mayor with the votes coming down to Fort Bend County.

Turner brought in 3,728 votes, 93% of the county's votes, to Republican candidate Bill King's 277 votes, or 7%. A near 3,500 vote difference.
