Subpoena issued to James Harden in civil lawsuit against nightclub

Houston Rockets guard James Harden, among the leading scorers in the NBA, may have to answer questions related to the assault of Moses Malone Jr.

Malone was robbed and attacked outside the V Live Vintage Steakhouse building on Richmond Avenue in June. His attorney says that Harden ordered four men to attack Malone after he criticized Harden in a Facebook post.

The attorney for Malone has issued a subpoena to have Harden testify in a civil lawsuit filed against V Live Vintage Steakhouse. The lawsuit was filed in part because Malone's attorney says the venue did not provide adequate security when Malone was assaulted outside the nightclub.

FOX 26 News is working to get a comment from Harden's legal representatives and the Rockets.
