Store clerk killed in robbery

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Houston police are investigating a murder of a convenience store clerk.   Arriving units at the store on N. Main at Airline found one man shot one time behind the counter and several witnesses inside.  The victim was the clerk.  He was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Surveillance video showed two suspects enter the location, with masks and gloves.  They shot the clerk and took the drawers from two cash registers and also an envelope with cash.  They then fled on foot behind the store and remain at large.  They are described as white males.  HPD is asking anyone with information to call their Homicide Division or Crimestoppers.
