Standoff with armed man prompts "lockouts" at 4 Channelview schools
CHANNELVIEW, TX - Authorities say that a standoff with an armed man in Channelview has prompted "lockouts" for 4 area school campuses. Constables say the armed man has barricaded himself in an apartment on Sheldon Road in Channelview.
Channelview ISD officials say that the four campuses on "lockout" include Channelview High School, Joe Frank Campbell Learning Center, Endeavor High School, and Early Childhood Center. During this lockout, all students and faculty are safely locked inside the school and no one is allowed in or out.
