Softball coach found dead after improper relationship charge

Investigators with Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable's Office say they have located The Woodlands High School girls’ softball coach they’ve been looking for since Thursday night. They say Richard Jorgensen apparently killed himself after an arrest warrant was issued for him in sexual assault of a child case.

Jorgensen's was found with a gunshot wound to the head in his hometown of Port Arthur. Deputy constables first went to his home in The Woodlands to serve the arrest warrant but he was nowhere to be found.

Jorgensen was employed by the Conroe Independent School District as the head coach for The Woodlands High School girls' softball team.
