Shoppers stock up on day-of Thanksgiving supplies

An estimated 33 million people will spend part of Thanksgiving Day shopping, according to the National Retail Federation. Many of those shoppers hit the grocery stores early in the day to stock up on last minute supplies for their Thanksgiving feasts.

A stop by Kroger on Buffalo Speedway revealed many shoppers were still picking up their Thanksgiving turkey just hours before the meal. Thanksgiving Day and the day before Thanksgiving are popular days to purchase thawed turkeys, according to the grocery store's manager, adding frozen turkeys are popular early in the week.

Many shoppers also purchases Kroger's hot and ready-to-serve Thanksgiving feast, complete with a number of side dishes.
