Seven people injured after truck hits Metro bus stop

HOUSTON, TX - Seven people were sent to the hospital after a truck hit a Metro bus stop and traffic light in Southwest Houston last night. The accident occurred at the Metro bus stop at Richmond and Hillcroft at approximately 10pm.  People say that all five people inside that truck and two people who were waiting for the bus are in serious condition.

It's believed the driver may have been speeding when he lost control near Richmond and Hillcroft.  The lights at the intersection may be down for several hours as crews try to repair that pole
