LOS ANGELES (FOX 26) - Selena Quintanilla is finally getting her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Selena will be honored with the 2,622 star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on November 3, according to a statement from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She is receiving the star in the category of recording and her star will be located in front of the Capitol Records Building.
The dedication will be held on November 3 at 6:30 p.m., and guest speakers include Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Texas-native actress Eva Longoria. Selena's sister Suzette Quintanilla will be accepting the star. According to Selena's official Facebook page, the mayor will also dedicate November 3 as "Selena Day" in Los Angeles.
