Security and ticketing closed at Terminal B of Bush Airport

The partial federal government shutdown is affecting travel at airports throughout the U.S., including in Houston.

The Transportation Security Administration checkpoint and ticketing counter in Terminal B at George Bush Intercontinental Airport will remain closed through Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, according to an updated statement released by the Housotn Airport System on Monday.

Travelers are asked to go to Terminal C or Terminal E to check in and go through security. Once through security, travelers can take the Skyway tram or walk back to Terminal B to reach the departing gate.

All flights are scheduled to go on time. Passengers are asked to arrive early to allow time for the change.
