Police searching for two suspects in series of robberies

Houston police are looking for two men they say struck an employee in the head with a handgun multiple times while robbing a Subway restaurant.

Police say the two men entered a Subway in the 8400 block of South Sam Houston Parkway on July 23. One suspect jumped the counter and demanded money from cash register, striking the employee in the head with a handgun multiple times, police say. According to HPD, the other man stayed in the dining area and took a suspects phone and purse before they both fled.

One suspect is described as a black male, 17 to 19 years old, 5'08" to 5'10", 140 pounds, black hoodie with "94" on the back and black pants. The other suspect is described as a black male 17 to 19 years old, 5'07" to 5'09", 140 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and black shoes.

Police believe the suspects are responsible for six other robberies from March 26, 2017 to July 23, 2017.
