Police searching for person of interest in deadly home invasion in Baytown

Baytown police are now searching for a person of interest, Jeremy Jamal Wheaton Ardion, in a deadly attempted home invasion in Baytown.

Detectives say they believe 30-year-old Ardion has information related to this case, but do not know if he played any role in this incident. They are asking for the public's help in tracking down Ardion.

Police say the Baytown home invasion left a teenager dead in the street and an innocent man shot. Last night, police 18-year-old "Jalen Cole" and another man were wearing masks when they tried to rob an apartment on South Pruett and West Humble Street.  Once inside the home, they got into a shootout with the tenant.

Cole was shot one time.  They both ran from the apartment, but Cole collapsed in the street. His accomplice escaped.

During the shooting, a bullet went through an neighboring apartment and shot a 44-year-old man in the shoulder. His condition is not known, but we're told he underwent surgery.

If you have any information in this case, please contact Baytown Crime Stoppers at 281.427.TIPS.
