HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Sunday afternoon, Houston Police as well as the FBI were seen searching at least one home in the 2000 block of Albans in Rice Village.
"I decided to talk to a few neighbors and some HPD folks and I was advised that there were a couple of homes here on the block under surveillance", says Robert Glaser who lives nearby.
At one point a robot was brought out and used as part of the investigation.
"I've seen these guys in full camo with I don't know if it's a battering shield or something going into one of the homes and it's kind of scary", says Jenny McCauley who also lives nearby.
Neighbors gathered around a blocked off intersection at Albans and Wilton to see what happened. Some say the same house had been investigated a few years back.
"Similar situation, the blocks were cornered off and there was a police surveillance helicopter, a news helicopter, apparently during that time they took out a lot of material from the homes and had it laid out on tables, they were inspecting lots of things", says Glaser.
"These things like this don't happen in this neighborhood so when it does it is frightening and I know there are a lot of concerned neighbors and residents around here", says McCauley.
No word yet as to whether or not anyone was inside the house at the time.
