Police: $2 million of meth found in car's modified gas tank

- Nearly $2 million worth of methamphetamine was found in a car's modified gas tank during a traffic stop along an interstate in Texas, police say.

According to the Round Rock Police Department, an officer conducting a traffic stop on IH-35 received conflicting stories from the car's occupants, raising the officer's suspicions.

Police say a K-9 gave the vehicle a positive alert, and the drugs were found in a modified gas tank upon further inspection.

Police estimate the 71 pounds of methamphetamine to carry a street value of nearly $2 million.
