Pets available for adoption at Houston Pets Alive

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Your favorite TV personalities from FOX 26 are rolling up our sleeves to help local animals who desperately need some help at Houston Pets Alive.  These companion cats and dogs are getting a second chance at a new life in a good home.  All this week, staff members from FOX 26 are donating their time to help give these pets a second opportunity at a good life. 

Houston Pets Alive is not your average rescue. This rescue center, located at 8620 Stella Link in Houston, serves as a step to save the companion animal before euthanasia at other shelters. It acts as a safety net for city shelters, to save the animals who have no other options. "We save as many animals as we can, between space in our shelter and in foster homes. We know that saving lives is a community effort, and we’re committed to saving the lives that others won’t," states the Houston Pets Alive website.

All this weekend, June 8-10, pets adoptions will be free at Houston Pets Alive.  If you can give these pups and kittens a second home, please sign up to donate one of the pets--or donate your time to help out this Houston rescue center.
