Pedestrian fatally struck in southeast Houston

Police say a person is dead after they were struck by a vehicle in southeast Houston.
Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating at the scene near Mykawa and Beltway 8.
According to police, initial reports indicate a pedestrian was walking in the roadway and was struck by a vehicle.
Mykawa will closed while police investigate.
