Parents warned after possible hepatitis A exposure at high school

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A letter was sent out to parents of students at HISD's Stephen F. Austin High School regarding a possible exposure to hepatitis A.

The letter states that students may have come into contact with someone said to have the highly contagious liver disease, and that students could have been exposed to it between April 20 and May 11. 

The Houston Health Department will be at Stephen F. Austin High School Wednesday to provide information to parents and answer questions.
