Paratroopers get a special gift from Houston Texans' J.J. Watt

HOUSTON, TX - They arrived! There's one very happy platoon of paratroopers now after Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt's delivery of Reeboks arrived. Watt tweeted on December 14, 2017 that he’s sending a shipment of his new shoes to a military unit in Afghanistan.

The idea for this special gift all started when Watt tweeted out a picture of his new Reebok shoes to hype their release. A soldier in Afghanistan reached out to Watt, asking if there was any way Watt could send him a pair while deployed. With a heart big as Texas, Watt was happy to honor this soldier.
