Oh nothing, just a horse in the back of a car in Iowa

ALTOONA, Iowa (STORYFUL) - Driving in Altoona, Iowa, on October 14 Hannah Waskel and a friend were both delighted to hit a red light for once, as it allowed them to spot an unusual fellow road user — a miniature horse.

The tiny equine traveler can be seen in a Twitter video posted by Waskel that day, captioned “This is the most Iowa thing that has EVER happened to me.”

She explained to Storyful that she and her friend were at an intersection when they spotted the peculiar sight. “We were just singing along to songs and when my friend looked to see if she could go right on red, we saw the horse. We started laughing and the people driving the horse saw us and waved. They even rolled the window down for the horse.”

Unfortunately, though, Waskel is not sure where the horse and its owners ended up, “but it was definitely something I’ve never seen before.”
