HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The Harris County Attorney's office is going after two southwest Houston after hours nightclubs.
Those businesses, owned by one man, are Mekano and De'Kache located on Richmond Avenue. Investigators say the clubs have sold liquor without a license and have become a nuisance for the community.
Assistant Harris County Attorney Julie Countiss says the breaking point was a shoot out at 7:30 in the morning back on December 5th. That shooting, where multiple people pulled out their guns, put lives in jeopardy.
Countiss was able to get a temporary injunction in civil court to make the owner clean up his act.
We have not been able to reach the owner of the bars for a comment on these latest legal developments.
