Carbon monoxide leak forces school evacuation in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, Texas (FOX 26) - Beaumont police confirm that Marshall Middle School has been evacuated after faculty members complained lightheadedness. Five people were taken to an area hospital, according to Beaumont Independent School District spokesman Ron Reynolds. Firefighters were able to contain a carbon monoxide leak that may have started in the boiler room of the building.
